The help you need to stay in touch.

What is Longtime?

Longtime is a no-nonsense contacts database that helps you track and maintain connections with the people in your life. It harnesses the practical power of the internet and modern technology to meet you where you are, without the pressure to be trendy or cutting-edge.

Stay Connected.

Let Longtime handle the heavy lifting of remembering birthdays and staying on top of when to reconnect.

Birthday Reminders Record birthdays and receive reminders as the date approaches.
Cadences Set up cadences to stay connected with people and get reminders when it's time to reach out.
Connections Log details about meaningful connections with one or more people.
Dated Notes Maintain a list of timestamped notes for specific people.

Stay Organized.

Longtime provides you with the tools to stay on top of the evolving changes in your people's lives.

Circles Organize your contacts with customizable Circles. You have full control over the labels' wording and appearance.
Contact Information Store essential details like addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers for your contacts.
Name Changes Track full names, including first, middle, and last names, as well as preferred names (nicknames) and previous last names (e.g., before significant life events).
Profile Photos Upload recent profile photos for your contacts. If no photo is available, Longtime will attempt to retrieve one via Gravatar.

Your Data, Where You Want It.

Longtime uses the power of the internet and trusted, modern technologies to ensure your data is secure while remaining accessible where you need it.

Automatically Create Connections from Calendars Set up an incoming iCal (.ics) feed to review and prepopulate approved connections with people in your account.
Create Lists Generate address, phone number, and email export lists based on filters, making tasks like sending invitations, holiday cards, and other routines easier.
Export Export people and connection data from Longtime in multiple formats, including vCard (for people), iCal (.ics) (for connections), CSV, or JSON.
Import Easily import people and connection data from any source using vCard (for people), iCal (.ics) (for connections), CSV, or JSON uploads.
Publish Birthdays to Calendars Create a secure outgoing iCal (.ics) feed to add birthdays to your calendar of choice.
Secure Sharing URLs Create secure, customizable, short-lived share links to send to others — share only what matters, and for a limited time.

Before we get too much further.

Let's talk about the elephant.

(And no, we don't mean our logo.)

Two letters are haunting everyone: AI. Yes, we use it—but only just enough to be useful. It simply turns what you type into tidy entries and helps you search in plain English. That's it.

More importantly, it's kept private:

0% Training
Your words never train anyone's models.
0% Visibility
The people who build the models never see your data.
0% Retention
The AI reads your text and forgets it — nothing lingers on their side.

And nothing in your own Space changes without your say-so.

For the complete picture, read how we use AI in detail

Putting you first.

What Longtime is not.

Costs are rising everywhere. Businesses seem to be finding new ways to squeeze more out of you — whether it's through price hikes, selling your data, or trapping you in endless AI support loops when you need real help. Longtime is different. We're here to give you a simple, trustworthy experience.

“I created Longtime to solve a problem I couldn't find a solution for elsewhere. I care deeply about privacy and quality of life. My goal was to build a simple, reliable database for the people in my life—one that provides just enough technology to be useful, convenient, and affordable, without overcomplicating things.

I'm satisfied with the value it provides to me and now I want to share it with you.”

As important as it is to understand what Longtime is, it is equally important to understand what Longtime is not.

  • No AI Support You'll never be handed to a chatbot, or an AI pretending to be a person — real help comes from a real human. We don't train AI on your data, and nothing in your account changes without your say-so.
  • No Automatic Syncing Longtime isn't about automatic syncing data across other tools or apps. We're here to help you manage personal connections, not create more complexity in your life. You don't need to worry about what's happening to your data elsewhere.
  • No Identity Integrations Longtime does not request access to your Google, Apple, Microsoft, or other accounts. We don't want to add another layer of concern or make you wonder what's happening behind the scenes. Longtime is here to help you, not complicate things.
  • No Sales & Marketing We don't bombard you with emails, texts, or push notifications. There are no cookies on our site, and you won't see display ads for Longtime across other websites. We're simply not interested in that.
  • Not for Business Longtime is not a tool for business transactions or closing deals. If that's what you're looking for, there are plenty of other options out there. Longtime is focused on personal connections — helping you stay in touch with the people who matter. It's about sending a birthday wish, keeping up with loved ones, and connecting in meaningful ways. Longtime helps you do just that.

Can I use this for business or sales-focused contact management?

While it's possible to use Longtime for business purposes, it's not designed for that. Longtime is specifically built for personal use, helping individuals and families keep track of contacts they don't regularly interact with. If you're looking for a sales or business-focused solution, there are other tools better suited for that purpose.
